Vulnerability Disclosure Timeline: ================================== 2012-12-26: Public or Non-Public Disclosure Discovery Status: ================= Published Exploitation Technique: ======================= Remote Severity Level: =============== Low Technical Details & Description: ================================ Multiple cross site scripting vulnerabilities are detected in the Pan-Tilt Wireless Network Camera web application with the marmitek interface. A non persistent web vulnerability allows to manipulate via client side forced browser requests to phish accounts and manipulate client side ip camera web module context. The vulnerabilities are located in the view.cgi and setup.cgi files when processing to request the bound vulnerable language or page parameters. The vulnerability can be exploited in all medium outdoor ip cams of the marmitek vendor and the bound suppliers. Exploitation of the vulnerability requires medium or high user interaction and no privileged web application user account. Successful exploitation results in non -persistent account phishing attacks, client side camera manipulation or client side vulnerable module web context manipulation. Vulnerable File(s): [+] view.cgi [+] setup.cgi Vulnerable Parameter(s): [+] language [+] page Proof of Concept (PoC): ======================= The client side cross site scripting vulnerabilities can be exploited by remote attackers without required application user account and with medium or high user interaction.
