Local Attackers are able to reset the password of the Backup Encryption Area to get access to backup files and restore or copy them as well. The vulnerability is located in the application folder `HuaweiBackup - BackupFiles` with the `Name of the Backup folder`. The new issue affects the file called `info.xml` which is storing the encrypted passwords inside. It is possible to bypass and reset the current password successfully by modifying the `checkmsg` parameter value with another encrypted password type . Due to our investigation Huawei Backup android application comes default to all huawei mobile products. Goes to `Huawei Backup folder` - `ackupFiles` - `name of current backup` 2. Rename the file " info.xml " into "info.txt" for editing . 3. Find the parameter " checkmsg" and replace the current encrypted value into another one . 4. The password reset successfully ! 5.
